- Manual handling and heavy lifting
- Safely and efficiently loading and unloading lorries
- Scanning and manually sorting parcels
- Moving boxes, items, and pallets using pump trucks
- Performing general warehouse duties to ensure smooth, safe operations
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized workspace
- Lifting goods weighing up to 20kg
All of our warehouse operatives must meet the following requirements:
- Pass a criminal record, personal credit, and ID check
- Be strong team players
- Communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Handle manual tasks, including lifting and carrying boxes and packed items
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Have a good command of the English language
- Be confident using scanners and computer-literate
- Adhere to quality service standards and follow all Health & Safety regulations
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup as scheduled (load, pack, wrap, label, and ship)
- Be flexible, with a willingness to cover different shift patterns
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines as part of a team
- Have experience working with individuals who may require support or feel vulnerable
- Be reliable, eager to learn, and possess a positive, can-do attitude
- Maintain high levels of security awareness regarding the site and stock
- Build good working relationships with colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Communicate confidently at all levels, both in written and spoken English
