Responsibilities and Duties

  • Order Processing: Manage pick ticket orders and efficiently retrieve inventory from warehouse shelves based on size, color, quantity, and quality specifications.

  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of stock movement, ensuring warehouse inventory levels are up to date.

  • Packing and Staging: Prepare orders for dispatch by securely packing items, shrink-wrapping pallets, and staging products correctly for shipment.

  • Loading and Dispatch: Load packed orders onto delivery trucks, ensuring safe handling procedures are followed.

  • Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or delays.

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough checks to verify order accuracy and maintain high-quality standards in order fulfillment.

  • Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, while adhering to safety regulations.

  • Health and Safety Compliance: Follow warehouse safety procedures, including lifting techniques and proper handling of hazardous materials.

  • Process Optimization: Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance warehouse efficiency and minimize order processing times.

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and delivery teams to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.

  • Experience operating an RF scanner for inventory management is a plus.

  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy objects.

  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods.
